Sarcoph creeps into Google Play for free!
Sneak into an abandoned city, grab the gold, and get out before the monster finds you
AUSTIN, Texas – October 22, 2026 – Just in time for spooky season, FarBridge is teaming up with indie game developers David Turkiewicz and Colin Joyce to bring their atmospheric indie horror game Sarcoph to a whole new set of players. Starting today, Sarcoph is free for download and play on Windows and select Android devices via Google Play.
No tricks, just treats. Turn off the lights, put on some headphones, and see how long you last. Enjoy our Halloween gift to you!
Welcome to Sarcoph
Twenty-five years ago, a massive crater opened up outside the industrial city of Sarcoph. The authorities ordered a permanent evacuation, blaming an industrial "accident" that released a toxic fog and killed most of the residents. Nobody has lived there since. At least, nobody human.
You play as a scavenger picking through the bones of the old city. You received a tip that gold treasures were left behind in one of the abandoned housing blocks. Your job is simple: collect the treasure and get out as fast as you can… before the monster finds you.
A Spooky New Partnership
Sarcoph is the creation of independent game developers David Turkiewicz and Colin Joyce, and has already earned a loyal following of horror fans and content creators.
“Sarcoph nails that feeling of being somewhere you really shouldn't be,” said Patrick Curry, CEO of FarBridge. “David and Colin built something genuinely scary, and we're thrilled to help bring it to players all around the world, completely for free, just in time for Halloween.”
This simultaneous release on Google Play highlights FarBridge’s commitment to cross-platform game development and their strive to reach the largest audiences of gamers possible.
“We’re proud to work with FarBridge to bring Sarcoph to the massive audience on Google Play,” says David Turkiewicz, co-creator of Sarcoph. “No matter how or where you like to play games – with a controller, mouse and keyboard, or a touch-screen – on a desktop, a laptop, a tablet or a phone – we’ll be there to scare the pants off you!”
How to Play for Free
Sarcoph is available for free download on Windows and select Android devices worldwide:
