QA Lead
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join our team working on multi-platform action-adventure games.
Responsibilities:
Work with internal and external teammates to ensure high levels of testing coverage for a variety of aspects and features
Responsible for developing test plans and ensuring that they are executed for each feature of the game
Participate in cross-discipline meetings to ensure QA’s priorities are taken into account with each feature or system
Periodic scheduling of test sessions for the studio
Facilitate and catalog feedback from play sessions with internal and external resources
Collaborate with our remote team from your home office on the equipment we provide
Work core hours in the North American Central time zone with the rest of our team
Requirements:
3+ years of QA experience
1+ years of leadership experience
Shipped at least one game to Steam, console, or an app store with a mid to large sized team
Experience working with external teams/ resources
Skilled verbal and written communicator of detailed issue documentation and test plans
Experience using metrics to measure types of feedback
Advanced user of issue-tracking tools such as JIRA
Experience working with a multidisciplinary team of producers, artists, designers, engineers
Strong project management, scheduling, and team coordination experience
Deep understanding of game development methodologies and their best use cases
Self motivated and able work independently as part of a fully distributed and sometimes a-synchronous team to meet deadlines and milestone requirements
Nice-To-Have Experience:
We don’t expect this Quality Assurance Lead to come to us knowing how to do everything, additionally, we believe in mentoring and growing our team members while they work on projects. Any of the following experience is not required, but is a plus:
Experience talking with publishers and clients
Experience working on action-adventure titles
Experience working on VR titles
